Downloads

Downloads are available as executable jar files.

Before you can use these installers you need to download and install the Java Runtime Environment (version 1.5 or higher) from Sun Microsystems.

Windows users who can't use the jars should download the exe installers instead.

If double clicking the jar file does not start the installer or the jar file opens in an archiving application, you have to open a command prompt (on Windows) or the console (on Linux) and enter the command:

javainstallationpath\bin\java -jar jarfilepath

Where javainstallationpath is the location where the Java Runtime Environment is installed and jarfilepath is the location of the jar file you downloaded.

Macintosh users can get a 1.5 Java Runtime Environment from the Apple website. It is recommended that Macintosh users uninstall any existing installations before upgrading.

Please note that if you are upgrading from a previous version of IECapture, you need to uninstall or disable the old version first and restart your computer before installing the new version.
